Ireja’s Transform Your Business Blog
Welcome to the beta version of our blog! We will be up and running soon, so this should be considered a work in progress.
Founded in the spring of 2006, Ireja LLP’s mission is to guide businesses to successfully representing and marketing themselves on the web. We started this blog in order to show examples of what we consider to be well-implemented web technologies. We are driven by the principles of Web 2.0 and Business 2.0 - the belief that businesses need to establish the core of their online presence around the practices of interacting with and engaging their customers while also communicating the company or organization’s story.

Upon moving to Japan, Jim quickly got his foothold working as a Web Developer and Systems Administrator for the Perceptional Dynamics laboratory of the Brain Science Institute at RIKEN. Before coming to Ireja, Miyuki worked with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the National Institute of Informatics, and Morgan Stanley. Her professional experience has taught her the value of usability, and she brings this focus to all of Ireja’s projects. Fluent in Japanese and English, she has extensive experience in developing solutions for end-users of various cultural backgrounds.
Ken Worsley
Senior Partner
Web Development and Marketing Consultant
Longtime Tokyo resident Ken Worsley first learned to build web sites out of necessity. He wanted to let people know when and where his band would be playing - and in 1994, that meant learning HTML 3. He quickly caught the website building bug, and now works with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Flash, PHP, and MySQL to bring database-driven web solutions to life. His intertests remain in developing marketing techniques that clients can use to build their online presence, while representing their themselves across languages and cultures. To that end, he is a strong proponent of effective business blogging. He began freelance print and web design and Tokyo soon after arriving in 2000, and in 2003 co-founded Recognize Design along with Jim DeWees. In 2006, Recognize was re-branded as Ireja Web Development, LLP. He is also a co-founder of Trans-Pacific Radio and a news contributor at CSS Drive.
